5K Run/Walk – On Your MMARC, Get Set, GO! – Moving for Mothers and Resilient Children
Approximately 830 women die from pregnancy or childbirth-related complications around the world daily, and nearly all of these deaths are preventable. Insufficient quality and access to health care as well as high rates of malnutrition for mothers and children under five are among the main causes of the deaths of women and children in many developing countries. On July 22nd at 10 a.m., join us to learn how you can take action to help women and children around the world!
On Your MMARC, Get Set, Go! – Moving for Mothers and Resilient Children 5KRun/Walk is an event being held to raise awareness of global maternal and child health. It will take place at High Park (Area 23) on Sunday, July 22nd, 2018 and will include a 5K run/walk and an introduction to global MNCH through interactive games and exercises. Register for free below and join us for a day of fun and learning! Each registrant will receive a runner’s packet which includes a t-shirt and water bottle. We will also have giveaways throughout the day and lunch will be provided.
